• Stewardship & Giving at St Paul’s, Cambridge

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

    1 Corinthians 13:13

  • Welcome

Thank you for visiting this page. You are probably here as you feel an itch or calling to help St Paul’s.

This page is not designed or intended to continually ask for money and demand that we give the Church every penny we have. But for you to have an open conversation with yourself, your faith and your relationship to both God and St Paul’s Church. There maybe more questions than answers, though we hope there is a spark of enlightenment for everyone that visits this page, and we can guide you in your response to God’s generosity.

Giving is a spiritual act of worship and a way to participate in God’s mission. At St Paul’s, your generosity helps us to share the love of Christ in Cambridge. We want our church to be here for your great grandchildren and their great grandchildren so they can feel the warm welcome of God’s love for centuries to come and for your church to continually have an open door to pray.

Over the last 20 years St Paul’s Church have founded something unique – an active local community, turned not inwards but outwards. St Paul’s goes above and beyond many churches in how we connect with and serve the local community. We truly make a difference, whether it be a warm meal, a place of comfort and quiet, or a chat amongst friends.

Building Trust with God and St Paul’s

Trust takes time and patience to build. It also takes energy and effort. St Paul’s must explain how gifts are spent, and what it achieves. We need to show that we spend money wisely and well, and that we spend people’s giving on the things that are important to their church and community.
Ultimately, trust grows and is sustained through our behaviour, when people can see us living out our faith, showing love and compassion and respect for everyone, when our actions are consistent with our words.
St Paul’s seeks to act in accordance with Christian values and ensuring that the way we ask for support, and the way we spend what is given, is entirely consistent with our faith.
