Art Exhibitions at St Paul’s
St Paul’s has a long and dedicated history to promoting art of diverse sorts, both from professional exhibitions and as part of our community program to enhance lives of local people.

Book your art exhibition at St Paul's
St Paul’s is excited to offer our spaces at a huge 40% discount rate (vs their normal hourly pricing) for independent art exhibitions. We also offer our Church Hall for Summer Exhibitions at an even larger discount.
St Paul’s can provide 6 white display boards (1.8m x 2.5m) which are included in the price, and hirers are welcome to bring more display boards. The timings available below include you hanging and set up of the exhibition and clear down time. There are some screws already in the boards and artists are advised to bring their own drill, drill bits and screws if they wish to move or edit the current locations (note being the boards are 25mm thick). St Paul’s does have a small supply of wire strings with adjustable hooks which work with D rings. It is down to the artist and how many pieces they need to hang (and take down) as to the opening times of their exhibition.
Please note, there is no hanging on walls, strictly only on the display boards offered.
Sign off procedure
Artwork for exhibitions must be sent in advance for sign off by our office team. Each piece must be appropriate to be hung inside a Church, this does not mean that pieces need to be pro-Christian, simply that they must be appropriate for the setting. The Church of England is not party political and therefore we cannot accept any political slogans or anti – monarchy work, but that does not mean works can’t be radical or challenging. If you are not sure about a piece or set of work, please do contact the office and we would be happy to discuss.
Marketing
St Paul’s will normally re-post and share your marketing on their social media channels and add your exhibition to their monthly calendar and what’s-on list.
Bookings & Invoicing
Once you have selected the date(s) for your exhibition and liaised with the St Paul’s office, to confirm your artwork is suitable, then you are able to book either online or via email. By booking you accept our Terms and Conditions which are available online.
St Paul’s invoices one month in advance, on the 15th (or nearest working day) of the month. All invoices must be settled 14 days in advance of the booking, failure to make payment could mean cancellation of the booking.
St Paul’s will then send to the artist the entry codes for the doors to the Church, so they can enter the building at the times of the exhibition.
