Starting on Friday afternoon through to Saturday 11pm you have exclusive use of the entire site for your DIY wedding, to make the space all yours. This includes the use of all the kitchens, our cleaning fee & refuse collection and security throughout the Saturday wedding.
St Pauls is a Unique Space in the Heart of Cambridge where you can bring your own caterers, your Music & your magic touch. From Band to Buffet — You Choose It All. We have a few trusted caterers who serve delicous and great value food whichever way you like it, from buffets to three course sit down meals.
Location
St Paul’s Church is a 10 minute stroll from the centre of Cambridge and the railway station. It has an attractive entrance with a small lawn, flower borders and a light, spacious reception area where guests can be greeted and enjoy drinks and canapés.
Our Church Hall
The well-proportioned, high ceilinged Main Hall has stunning stained glass windows, with pale oak floors to create a sense of light and space. The underfloor heating ensures it is also cosy in colder months. Candelabras on the walls and pillars make a candlelit occasion possible. The space offers potential for a variety of layouts and can accommodate up to 200 for a formal wedding breakfast and 300 standing to dance the night away. A raised area serves as a stage for entertainment and the room is equipped with wireless internet, AV and PA systems.

Wedding Package: £3450*
Security Deposit: £200
This is a discount of £1010 from normal hourly rates!
This Includes:
- Exclusive use of entire site from Friday afternoon through to Saturday 11pm
- Chairs & tables
- Audio Visual including Microphone, and Projector Screen
- Grand Piano
- Use of all the kitchens
- Including cleaning fee & refuse collection
- Licensed Security throughout the Saturday wedding
What it doesn't include:
- Catering, food and drinks
- Wedding Ceremony
*Please note this does note include a marriage service. an extra fee is payable for a marriage service. If you do wish to get married here, please contact our Vicar, Imogen on: vicar@stpaulscambridge.org.uk
Please note that civil ceremonies cannot take place on site
How to book
If you are interesting in booking St Pauls as your wedding reception venue, please get in touch via email on bookings@stpaulscambridge.org.uk or call us 01223 576899. We will arrange for you to visit and ask any questions.
Once you are ready to book this is what we need from you:
- Acceptance of our Terms & Conditions. By placing a booking you are accepting these terms and conditions and will abide by them.
- Please read our and Safeguarding Provisions document. - First and last name
- Phone number and email address
- Date you wish to book and times PLEASE INCLUDE TIME FOR SET UP AND CLEAR DOWN
- As much detail as possible about the event you wish to hold, especially expected guest or visitor numbers and type of event.
- Any extras you require (piano, audio visual etc.)
- Which room/s you wish to hire
- Private or organisation/charity/business booking (charities must be registered)
- Expected guest or visitor numbers
- Please note we require each hirer to complete their own risk assessment of their event. If you already have a risk assessment feel free to send your copy over. Outside of one-off hirers (such as birthdays and weddings) we require all third-party groups that use the building have their own Public Liability cover in place for their activities.
- Will food/drink be consumed and also will alcohol be consumed.
- The rooms must be left clean and as you found them.
